Mess Lab is a pixel sandbox where every grain follows simple rules. Pour sand, water, lava, fire, oil, ice, plants, seeds and bombs, then watch them fall, flow, burn, melt and grow. Flip gravity whenever you like. There is no goal and no timer, just a lab to make a mess in.
Lava touching water turns into stone and steam. Fire spreads through plants, wood and oil, and water puts it out. Ice melts next to fire or lava, and slowly freezes water it touches. Plants grow into water. Steam rises and some of it falls back as rain. Lava can turn sand into glass.
Drop a seed onto sand, stone or a plant. It sprouts a trunk, may grow a branch or two, and finishes with a leafy top.
A bomb explodes about half a second after it stops falling, or straight away if fire or lava touches it. Bombs next to each other set each other off, so you can build chain reactions.
There is no real score. The counter shows how many reactions happened, such as things catching fire, lava cooling or trees growing.
